Get connected

 Men of 3SIXTEEN

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. -Provers 27:17

We actively pursue men to connect them with God through His Word, with the goal of winning, growing, and training them as God’s men in Christ. Our primary objective is to encourage and build each other up in Christ Jesus, allowing His Word to work in us as men, shaping us to fulfill His purpose.

Music Ministry

a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.   When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked. “This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.” -Matthew 26:7-9

Worship is a way of life. The life of a worshipper is about life with God. Daily communion and a constant humility before His feet. Like a broken fragrance, we pour ourselves upon the feet of Jesus, yet He is the one who wipes away every tear and stain.

 Women’s Ministry

Older women are to be reverent in their behaviour…teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored -Tit’s 2:3-5

Women’s Ministry at LWCC exists to encourage women to grow as disciples of Christ through understanding and application of God’s Word and deepening of our friendships with other women for fellowship and accountability.
We want to provide a safe environment for women to share their concerns with one another and be supported through prayer and practical ways. We want to offer hope by providing biblical solutions to problems that women face.

Our vision is to see the lives of women at LWCC changed to reflect Christlike character, equipped to disciple other women and empowered to fulfill God’s calling in their lives.

 Outreach Ministry

For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast. -Ephesians 2:8-9

The Evangelism ministry exists to equip and mobilize our people to be effective witnesses of Christ locally and be involved in missions globally. Locally, we currently have Senior’s outreach in nursing homes in Langley. We reach out to our community by organizing Vacation Bible School in Summer time and connecting with local outreach organizations. Globally, we connect with missionaries serving overseas and seek various ways to participate in the proclamation of the Gospel to “the ends of the earth” through short term mission trips.

Children’s Ministry

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. -Proverbs 22:6

The children’s ministry will still be under the umbrella of the Women’s Ministry. There will be Sunday school during Sunday services.
